Glorious morning to try something new. YHC was thrilled to see Huckabee on his fourth day in F3 and fourth day straight posting – then saw two HIM’s from F3Lejeune Avenatti and Halftime – then saw DumpsterDawg who had texted earlier this morning to say he might not make it because he was sick as a dawg! Add in the return of Purplerain from vacation, Cheech and Pillbox and NOW ITS A PARTY!
YHC is leaving for vacation today so I had to reach into the mental files to find something quick. I’ve been wanting to try a trip to Riverside Park for a Bermuda Triangle and today was my chance – it would mean about a 3 mile round trip but I knew these monsters were ready for me. Warmarama was on the run so we could make it all the way to the waterfront and consisted of:
- Squat Jacks IC x 10
- Imperial Walker Squats IC x 10
- Seal Jacks IC x 10
- Hilbilly Squats IC x 10
- Skier Jacks IC x 10
Once we reached the park we split into three groups of three. Each man had picked a cardboard sign with an exercise written on it earlier. We split up at the three gazebos on the end of the dock at riverside park. The Pax rotated between gazebos for three rounds of 25 reps single count of each of the following:
Stop 1
- Bobby Hurley
- Squats
- LBC’s
Stop 2
- Double Wides
- Groiners
- Mountain Climbers
Stop 3
- Burpees
- WW1’s
- WW1’s
Indian Run all the way back to the Flag with just enough time to get in one round of Freddie Mercs led by Halftime and a short lay and pray led by Dumpster Dawg.
Announcments: Couchpotato has the Dingbatter for his 2 year anniversary tomorrow. Shoebox has the Q at Uncommon in Jacksonville. Boat day coming up June 29th. Praise for FranknBeans – pick up a copy of his book “When Sunday Smiled” and come to the 3rd F he runs on Tuesdays after Boondocks. Prayer requests for Brockovich’s recovery, Gilligan, traveling Pax and families. Avenatti did a great job taking us out with heartfelt words of praise and thanksgiving.
What an honor men. A beautiful morning, a great workout, terrific waterfront setting and some of the best men on God’s green earth. YHC will miss you the next 10 days or so. Until then,
Navy, Out.
