Mysterious Crop Circles and Birdman the Crop Duster

YHC arrived early to check out some new facets of the AO and get the old joints lubed up.  Needless to say there were already a few of the regulars out on standard (Purplerain, Griswold, Maytag, Dollywood) and KFC was there chomping at the bit for some action.  By the time I returned from my recon we were 10 strong in the gloom.

I promised “some” distance and Griswold gave up his beloved Dreadnought to post with the dockers, so after the briefest of mission statements we began a rolling mosey

WARMORAMA in the adjacent parking lot.  Starting in the corners with 5 burpeess OYO.  Next corner Cotton Pickers IC x 15.  High Knee to the next corner 3 burpess OYO and Imperial Walkers x 10. But kickers to the next corner for 2 burpees OYO and then off towards the West through the bank and gas station parking lots to the town hall picnic tables for the

Today YHC decided to revisit something I tried for the first time at the Hashmark last week.  Since YHC thought it went well and provided an adequate beating it needed a name.  Thus, “Mysterious Crop Circles” were born.  PAX were told to partner up.  At each stop throughout the rest of the morning, P1 would perform a series of exercises of 5, 10, 15 and 20 reps (repeato) while P2 ran a designated course.  Switch P1 & P2.  Here is what we accomplished:

Stop 1: Derkins, Earkins, Dips, Air Presses (repeato) while P2 ran 3 circles around town hall.  Mosey across Hwy 24 to Walgreens and,

Stop 2: Merkins, Drydocks, Plank Jacks, Mountain Climbers (repeato) while P2 ran around Wallgreens and the ABC store and back.  Switch.  Mosey to Java Post for

Stop 3: Toe Raises, Lunges, Squats, Monkey Humpers (repeato) while P2 ran around the first building twice.  Switch.  Mosey to Mac Daddys for

Stop 4: WW1’s, Dying Cock Roach, Freddy Mercs, LBCs (repeato) while P2 did a parking lot tour.  Switch. Mosey back to Walgreens stopping at every light pole for stacking merkins (pole 1- 1 Merkin, pole 2- 2 merkins) for nine light poles in all.  Mosey across Hwy 24 back to the town hall for

Stop 5: Sun gods, seal claps, overhead claps, air presses (repeato) while P2 did 2 laps around town hall.  Switch.  Mosey back to the flags for a hard stop.

Somewhere along the way birdman decided we needed some poison to kill off, well, just kill everything and began crop dusting the pax with a horrible smoke cloud.  We covered about 2.7 miles in all.  Strong work men.

Griswold took us out in a heartfelt prayer.  KFC on the Prometheus VIRGIN Q tomorrow.
