What a great day this is going to be, YHC thought while rolling to the AO. 17 years ago today I was lucky enough to marry my best friend. I couldn’t think of a better start then celebrating with my F3 brothers.    As I pulled into the AO, I noticed that Griswald had already began his run. This dude is a BEAST that doesn’t know the meaning of quit!  Navy was the next to arrive, jumped out of his car and just like that he’s gone on his usual Warm-up run. All of the other PAX start rolling in as we start to circle up. Hard Start!  After giving a flawless mission statement and disclaimer I told the PAX that in honor of my anniversary, 17 would be the number of the day. Just as I started to begin the Warm a Rama, We were convinced to mosey thanks to Griswold’s “backside influence”. (Thanks a lot Gris)

The Thang

I instructed the PAX that we were going to be completing 17 exercises at 17 reps for each.  We began with Wall Warms: Up the wall, hold for 17 seconds, down the wall, 5 Merkins with 1 foot on the wall.  We completed three rounds of these with the last round doing 7 Merkins  that brought us to a total of 17. Mosey to the parking lot.  We would be using three lines spread about 40 yards or so across the parking lot to complete 17 reps of each exercise. Run to the 1st line, 5 reps, run to the 2nd line, 5 reps, run to the 3rd line, 7 reps. The exercises were: Merkins, WWI, Double Wides, LBCs, Diamond Merkins, Freddy Mercury’s, AST, Squats, Hand Release Merkins, Mountain Climbers, Tempo Merkins, Dying Cockroach, Copperhead Squats & LSF. A short mosey to the fountain for some Dips and Erkins, 2 rounds x 17. And there you have it, 17 exercises x 17reps. If you break the math down, the PAX completed 323 reps and roughly 600 yards with 17 different exercises!! Excellent job guys! Mosey to the flag for a Hard Stop…

I thanked the guys for showing their support and helping me celebrate my anniversary which I am so proud of. Count, Name a Rama and Announcements were made about upcoming Qs and Couch Potato’s GREAT NEWS! Prayer request were taken and Kiwi lead us in prayer, Thanks Kiwi! Always grateful for F3 and this amazing group of gentlemen who always seem to push me, encourage me and inspire me on a daily basis. Thanks again guys and excellent work today!
