Despite an alarm announcing a Severe Thunderstorm Warning at 4am and several reports by the PAX of youngens invading beds around that same time, only a few rain drops fell between 0520 and 0615. Best YHC could tell is that the clouds had already emptied all they had to produce plenty of obstacles during our morning jaunt.

This morning’s workout was pretty simple. After a short warm-a-rama of Cotton Pickers (IC x 10), Imperial Walkers (ICx10), SSH (ICx10), and a short mosey, we got right to it with some Sasquatch training.

5 sets of the following OYO:

  • 5 pull-ups
  • 10 Merkins
  • 15 Squats

Run to Swinson Park.  Repeat above exercises (5 sets).  Run at a faster pace back to pull up station at West Carteret and repeat above exercises (5 sets).  Run track at own pace.  With return to the parking lot, Garmin tracked 4.08 miles.  Nice mileage.  Good push.
