The “Snix” is in…let’s mosey

YHC was excited to get back in the saddle after a week of vacation followed by a week of company.  Rather than reinventing the wheel, YHC decided to pick elements from some of his favorite Q’s in the past, borrowing heavily from a Lassie Q at the HIN and a Monkey Wrench Q at the Hashmark.

After a short slow standard, accompanied by Couch Potato who rode his bike all the way from home, YHC proceeded to the countdown, fist bumps, mission statement and disclaimer.  However, before we could even get a stretch in Tony Romo had proposed a name for the FNG which ultimately stuck. This might go down as the earliest FNG naming in F3 history.  Then we executed a short mosey for the

THE THANG

PAX partner up for some “Pole-ish Suicides”.  P1 does the designated exercise AMRAP while P2 does a fast mosey to the next light pole and back. Switch/Rinse/Repeat – plank for the 6.  Slow mosey together to the next light pole and repeat-o all the way to Henderson Dr.  PAX turned left on Henderson and played “catch me if you can” with 4×4’s as the exercise.  We went all the way to Hwy 24 and back to the turn where we resumed our Pole-ish Suicides on the way back home all the way in to a hard stop. Along the route a new term was coined…the “six” is now the “snix”  in honor of Snooki as the happiest of all rear-bringer-uppers.  Total Distance was 2.6 miles – you’re welcome Snook.

We circled up to Name-o-rama where we saddled the FNG with Tony Romo’s original suggestion “Pablo Escobar”.  Announcements: Inaugural Mullet Wrapper in Swansboro at the municipal park tomorrow – Purplerain on the Q.  FOD (Plebe Family Q), Dingbatter (Steamer Q), Hero (Bluegrass) Slick Cam (Jang) on Saturday. Prayer Requests: Blart’s Family – his M has a round of chemo today.  YHC took the assembled PAX out in thanks for the men the showed up to Get Right this morning.

It is always YHC’s distinct pleasure and honor to lead this fine group of men.  Once again we are blessed to see father/son units (Kiwi, Tony Romo, Couch Potato and Plebe) ensuring the next generation of leaders is ready.  Thank you for the keys Snooki!
