There is no better way to start out your day than to fellowship with friends. The Tuesday morning gloom had secured itself over the West Carteret High School and Carteret counties finest were slowing coming in.  The fearless leader had purchased a 128oz surprise for all the pax and he was ready to dispense these gifts to the crowd.

After an excellent warm-up routine that consisted of the side shuttle hop, bend and reach, rear lunge, and the prone row, the troops were ready to embark on this special journey. The Q delivered each pack his 128oz coupon that would ensure each highly motivated individual was able to firmly achieve their lactic threshold. After a half-mile brisk jog around the track, it was time to warm up the core.

  • In and outs
  • Bicycles (F & R)
  • Frog
  • Compound Sit-Ups

Another half-mile brisk jog around the track and most of the mumblechatter had declined. Next up was pass the water jug coupled with a low- slow-flutter.  @Deebo was sly enough to hide some of the water jugs; however, this would not prevent the Q from achieving a decisive victory. Another lap around the track.

Next up was the Texas push up challenge to increased the blood flow through the body and ensured all pax would receive a well-rounded training routine. The Gambetta leg circuit followed including 4 sets of:

  • 20 Squats
  • 20 Rear lunges
  • 20 Forward Lunges
  • 20 Jumping Squats
  • 1/4 mile sprint around the track.

The Q knew he had to keep the pax heart rates high to deprive those brave souls of needed oxygen. Albeit much respect must go to the most dedicated pax for delivering an excellent display of mumblechatter.
