Yesterday I realized I hadn’t seen Bedsore and/or MeeMee in a while and I intended to send them a message, but old age took over and I forgot. So what a surprise when MeeMee (sans Bedsore) rolled up to the QAR.
A good number of cars and trucks started rolling in so I knew we would have a pretty good crowd. I glanced up at the upper parking lot to see if Reef Donkey was going to have to honor his promise to merge the Anchor B’s with the QARs if he didn’t have 5 Pax. It looked like his numbers were sufficient so they wouldn’t be joining our ranks. Soon it was time for the hard start and we were off to the upper lot, crossing paths with the 5 AB’ers along the way.

We started off with a Merkin Mile, running the Rotary Park trail, stopping 10 times for 10 Merkins each time. We ended the 1 mile run at the middle parking lot where we ran the parking spaces, performing an exercise at the end of each white line. When we reached the end of the spaces we would sprint back to the starting point and repeat with a different exercise. The exercises were: 1 Burpee, 2 LBCs, 3 Squats, 4 Mountain Climbers, and 5 Monkey Humpers.
We then Bear Crawled across the parking lot and Lunged back, repeating 3 times.
Then it was up to the Marlins right field wall for a round of People’s Chair and Balls to the Wall, with each man counting to 5.
That was followed by a long mosey to the picnic shelter for Dips, Urkins, Derkins and Step Ups.
After all of the above, we still had 4 minutes left for:
American Hammer x 15 IC
Ronnie B finished it off by leading us in 3 minutes of Protractor.
Blart led us in prayer for John Jenkins (Lassie’s brother) and the unspoken prayer requests.
Thanks to all that posted this morning. It was a great push by everyone and my honor to lead.
