Five men met on this wet morning to get a little bit better. We discussed possible routes for our trek and at 5:15 we had our hard start. Mission Statement delivered and we were off. Laettner ran ahead and the four remaining rucked in traditional Prometheus fashion.
We did a quick lap around Marsh Harbour with plans to hit the EI bridge in time for the sunrise. Omaha called when it was discovered that The Tony Romo has a case of stage fright when it comes to tackling the bridge on foot. No worries, we hit The Boondocks instead and then made our way back to meet Laettner at exactly 6:15. Hard stop, announcements, prayers, COT lead by the fine words of Tony Romo.
The Rucker’s logged 3.6 miles at 82 degrees and 93% humidity. Laettner was typical Laettner posting a standard (4:15ish) before his hour run – Wow!
The title to this BB is a call for more Pax joining Pillbox on Wednesday mornings. I wanted to run this morning but I’m better for choosing to ruck with the guys.
Wishing everyone a happy AND SAFE 4th of July!
