I think most of us heard the downpours from 4:45 to 5:00 am and I knew the fart sack monsters were going to be in full force today all over Carterico land. Pulling into the Sanitary lot, I was glad to see three more sets of head lights follow me in. The rain let up as the mission statement and short disclaimer were issued and we headed off in the gloom to get ‘er done. We moseyed to the Big Rock Fountain for:
Side Straddle Hops x15 IC
Sun Gods x10 Forward and Reverse
Cotton Pickers x10 IC
Windmills x10 IC
Partner A Run Lap around Jib
Partner B did Plank Jacks
Did three circuits of these followed three circuits each of by WWI’s, Air Presses, LBC’s
We moseyed to Jaycee Park stage where YHC can’t wait for the Live at 5 Concert Series to start. Here we did Dips, Erkins, Derkins, Step Ups. Round 1 x 10 IC followed by a lap around the building, Round 2 15 ea Single Count and a lap, round 3 20 single count ea followed by a lap.
Next we found our way to the parking lot behind the bathhouse for 2 rounds of Suicide Merkins. While doing the suicide, drop and do a merkin at parking space line 2,4,6,8,10 and sprint back to starting line and do a merkin.
Mosey to 8th and Evans where we sprinted up to to Arrendel, 10 count back down to Evans for two rounds.
We moseyed back to the parking lot for a quick round of Mary that included Freddy Merc’s, X and O’s, Boss Tweeds, and American Hammers.
Prayer Request-Dipper’s Dad, everyone fighting the Flu. Aflac-hope you are feeling better. YHC took us out in prayer today. Mornings with weather like this should be what drives us to be better husbands, fathers, brothers and community leaders. If you haven’t worked out in the cold, in the rain, in the snow, or in 90% humidity, you owe it to yourself and to the PAX to try it. The hardest step is the first one getting out of bed. Trust me, the rest is easy. Until next time. Suitcase
