Low numbers seemed to be the norm with the type of weather we have been having, and this morning was no different. A cool breeze was among us as I headed to the starting point for this morning;s site. I arrived and began planting the ole shovel flag as was soon meet by Wilson, then Pedro, and finally Monkey Wrench. 5, 3, 2, and 1 minute warnings were giving followed by our mission statement and we were off.
YHC decided that we would make our way over the bridge and down to the AB Circle for this morning. As we reached the top of the Atlantic Beach bridge, stop #1 produced the following exercises:
Erkins x 20
Squats x 20
Recover and we were on our way to our midway point at the boardwalk at the circle. Once there the previous exercises were performed with the addition of:
Bicep Curls with pack x 20
Packs back on and it was time to venture back to Sweet Beans in the allotted time given for this morning. All along the route, there were many conversations about various topics, local businesses, and some childhood memories.
Once back, we performed a few stretches to finish out a great 3.65 mile ruck on this fine Friday.
Announcements and prayer request were made and YHC took us out in prayer.
It was a pleasure and honor to lead this morning. Having a small number allowed for more time to fellowship and catch up on things with those around that we haven’ seen in a week or two. Definitely time well spent with my F3 Brothers and I look forward to many more mornings like this.
