8 gathered at WCHS this morning for what was promised to be a somewhat less than dreadnought-like workout, given what is ahead of us this weekend. YHC looked around at those assembled and quickly realized that picking up the six with this group was going to mean picking up Gertrude. So be it. Off we went to the front parking lot for . . .
Cotton Pickers & Stretches
After we stretched instructions were given to the pax to head down the Bridges St. Ext. path with stops at (1) the first bridge, (2) the water fountains @ Swinson, (3) Friendly Road and (4) FastMed Urgent Care. At each of the first three stops it was 15 Merkins SC, 15 Carolina Dry Docks SC and 15 Plank Jacks IC.
Reaching FastMed right at 5:50am, a little behind schedule, “Omaha” was called so that we could make it back to the flag on time: 10 Merkins SC and 10 Carolina Dry Docks SC at each stop on the way back. It was a little over four miles all together with no ten counts, but I am not clear whether it got a passing grade from Misty.
Continued prayers for victims of Harvey, as well as those in the path of Irma. As always it was an honor to lead.
