YHC had a plan all drawn up, then I checked the weather…omaha.  Tried to find a workout that would keep us under the pavilion as much as possible in case the weather picked up.  Arrived at the AO around 5:10 to see Sparkles out on a standard.  Spent the next 15 minutes looking for dry spots.

I honestly didn’t expect anyone else besides Sparkles to show but true to form, Princess and Cheech appeared out of the gloom.  Those boys are motivated and dedicated!  After the briefest of welcomes and mission statement we mosey to the back parking lot for a little warm-o-rama.  High knees, toy soldiers, butt kickers and karoke followed by seal jacks, cotton pickers, hillbillies, Cheech slap fights and Morrocan Night Clubs all IC. Then we paired up and took off for a little catch me if you can with 4×4’s.  While we were out the rain started to really come down so we finished up the run at the pavilion and started on the Thang.

YHC had planned a little workout called the ménage à trois.  This called for groups of three doing three rounds of three exercises.  Since we only had four PAX we modified to pairs doing three rounds of three.  We started each round with a 30 second peoples chair then Partner 1 would plank while Partner 2 did the exercise.  First time through was peoples chair x 30, derkins with P1’s feet on P2’s back while P2 planked.  Three rounds for a total of 75 derkins.  Next round was Peoples chair x 30, P1 Squats x 25 while holding P2’s feet.  Three rounds for a total of 75 squats.  Final round was peoples chair x 30, P1 bicep curls holding P2’s feet.  Three rounds for a total of 75 curls.  This was a butt kicker of an evolution which didn’t look so bad on paper but ended up gassing all involved.

We finished up with some dealer’s choice Mary to include LBC flutter kicks, pickle pointers, pickle pounders, crunchy frogs, freddie mercs, bird man crunches, and low plank to a hard stop.

T-claps to these strong men for braving the elements.  YHC took us out in prayer.

SYITG!!!!!
