In honor of all the athletes getting back on their fields, we combined conditioning drills from several sports. Several guys wore their colors, special note to Purplerain who still “fits” in his HS jersey. After a warmup did “Bone the Fish” followed by grass drills (crab walk left, right, back, and forward), and up-downs. Next we shuffled around and over obstacles, then made football moves while sprinting on diagonals around more obstacles. This was followed by chariot races up a hill (piggy back) and spin drills. One partner was on all fours, the other spun around him with his chest on the partner’s back. One hundred yards of pain meant the partners had to do a combined 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 exercises every 10 yards. At the field of pain, six cones were set in a 10×20 yard rectangle. Partners had to do an exercise at each cone then lunge to the next cone. We concluded with a circle of trust, announcements and prayer. Navy, proud grandfather stopped in to bolster the fellowship.
