The temperature and humidity dropped a little this morning, and 23 pax showed up at 0530 for the boondocks. 💪🏻. To FNGs, one transplant, and an annual dingbatter from ITB showed up with the usual suspects. We started with a mission statement, five core principles (for the FNG’s), and a disclaimer, but only half of it was heard due to the chatter. Three minutes into the warm-up, purple rain was already complaining, but the Q pressed on: Sun God’s, windmills, Michael Phelps, 5 Burpee‘s, mountain climbers, and Side straddle hops comprised the lengthy warmarama for the FNG‘s. We then partnered up for a little 20 / 20. Partner one ran to the back of the truck and grabbed a coupon for 20 curls and 20 squats with overhead press. Partner two ran to the long curb at the church for 20 alternating lunges and 20 curb Derkins. They switched stations with a fist bump and repeated this three times. After the six was in, we moseyed as a group across the highway to the one in only hill at the boondocks. We performed a crowdpleaser (Merkin with groiner), multiplied up from 1 to 6 with backpedaling up the hill and running down the hill between each count. We finished up at the top of the hill where each group of partners performed a plank railroad down the Lowe’s parking lot to the front entrance. Group one found this quite difficult for some reason 🤷♂️, but they eventually made it to the end. We then found two shopping cart racks in the middle of the parking lot to perform 20 Merkins and 20 Derkins on each of the high and the low bars. Next was another plank railroad back up to the top of the parking lot and a mosey to the top of the hill. We did Lieutenant Dans to the bottom of the hill, then ran back to the church to find everyone’s favorite long curb and wall. We performed 10 IC wall walk ups, then 10 IC air presses. Rinse and repeat 3 times, adding in 20 air presses at the end (just for a little extra fun)… The complaining started to get thick at this point. Only a few minutes remained until the hard stop, so we moseyed back to the flag for 20 low slow flutters and one solid minute of couch potatoe’s infamous Supermans. Hard stop. Count off, naming of the FNGs: Caitlyn, named after Caitlyn Jenner due to a pseudo- Benny-boy story from the Philippines, and Barney Fife courtesy of Dash8. Announcements were made, and we had some personal prayer requests that we should all continue to pray for. We closed out in prayer in a BOM, with lots of Thanksgiving, as well as praying for strength end guidance. It was an awesome F3 morning pax! I appreciate opportunity Cheech. The boondocks is going strong, and I hope to see these FNGs back out in the gloom very soon!
