We had a great crowd show up at The Rolling Stone on Thursday due to Don King promotions…Princess.  It was dead balls perfect and there was some energy in the air.  I was pumped to get started but I did notice we did have one person not show up that had HC’d….Birdman.

After a pretty darn good mission statement, we did 5 burpees for Birdman.  We moseyed around the parking lot 2X for some

We started off at the Croatan HS driveway heading towards 24.  We completed the following…cumulatively adding an exercise at each of the 5 stops heading to 24.

The chatter slowed down a little at this point but we still had some work to do.

We completed the following in the same fashion as before on the way back to the parking lot.

Props to Brockovich for pushing through a lot of the shoulder exercises….I heard no complaints from this guy.  Great to have him aboard.  We moseyed a bit faster than I had planned.  Every mosey I had Dash 8 and/or Navy on my heels.  Towards the end Dash 8 and Navy just took off ahead of the group.  Sparkles was a bit more subtle about it and stayed at least a couple steps behind me.  Thanks for the etiquette Sparkles.  Amazingly enough, Griswold talked the whole time.  Between breathes, I could hear Skidmark in the background as well.

We moseyed to the flags….again…Dash 8 on my heels….to do a proper Ring of Fire.  Snooki totally butchered this a few days prior at the Boonedocks.  It was time to do this thing right.  Couch Potato called out that we should get at least 5 rounds and the challenge was on.  Remnants of Snooki’s poor instructions still puzzled some of the group but regulars like Pillbox kept the group straight….poor Pillbox has listened to that song at least 10X.  It was tough but we got through the 5 rounds with Couch Potato finishing up at the last second.  Nice work boys.


We lined up to do a little Indian Run to cap the workout off.  Brockovich showed some nice wheels on the Indian Run.


We circled up and did 5 more burpees for Birdman.  Cheech is a pretty good gage of whether the workout was a good one or not because he does all the exercises and doesn’t cheat.  He was sweating pretty good…so I will say it was a good one.


Nameorama, announcements and prayer requests.  Kiwi looked like a little kid that had to pee he was so anxious to lead the PAX out in prayer…..so he was asked to lead us out.   Nice job as always Kiwi.  Thanks for the nod Princess.


I can’t recall my starting date of F3 but it was roughly 2 years ago.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my past two years in F3.  I’m definitely in better shape than I was two years ago and have met some great guys that make me look forward to getting up at 4:45 to go run around in the dark, roll in the wet cold grass, dodge lightning, jog on ice, run in 99% humidity, do LBC’s on top of red ants, run in the rain and workout in 20 degree weather.  I definitely wouldn’t do this stuff on my own.  I appreciate everyone that I have worked out with in my 2 years.  Iron sharpens Iron.
