12 Pax joined YHC on a crisp and cool Carterican morning for some fun, a workout and some laughs. When Creflo messaged YHC yesterday morning to confirm my Q, I had not written it on my calendar. So thanks Creflo and thanks to Rooni as well for sending out the daily reminders for who is Q the next morning.
As usual, YHC was not wearing a watch so the time keeping job went to Wilson. On his announcement of the hard start, off we went on a short mosey towards the end of the parking lot where we circled up and started to stretch. It was during the stretching that the mission statement and disclaimer were perfectly delivered while doing front bends and R/L and L/R. YHC asked for the Pax to name the 5 core principals of F3 and those were quickly rattled off as we continue to stretch. After stretching for what felt like a good 10 minutes, we moseyed on down the parking lot making the turn at the traffic island and lined up shoulder to shoulder for a good old fashion F3 fast walk. YHC had promised in the Pre Blast that there would be no long runs and zero Burpees. Keeping with this promise, we turned around and did the F3 power walk again, this time a little faster.
Along the way we did 10 Merkins then moseyed to the picnic shelter for 3 rounds of dips, Urkins and Dirkins 20 count each. Recovered for a minute then did 15 of of each then 10 and finally 5. We moseyed and F3 power walked for a ways, then back to the shelter for some step ups for a couple of rounds, power walked a bit more then stopped for a few bear crawls.
Around this time, Ronnie B started singing….not sure of the song title was but as we approached the stadium fence it was obvious that the only way to stop him was a 5 count BTW which we immediately launched into. That did the trick. We did a ten count per man Al Gore and one last round of BTW 5 count.
Back to the parking lot for some cool down stretches and Mary. Before that however, YHC couldn’t resist..2 hand release Burpees. Oh well, I guess I’ve broken bigger promises.
Announcements: Christmas party this Saturday and the Kracken this Friday. Prayer requests were for Lassie’s brother, Madoff’s mother and Steamer’s sister. Seems like I am missing a couple but the Lord knows and that’s what counts.
13 Pax posting at the Anchor B is a good number. We had a great group of guys posting and there’s no reason at all not to see double digits again next Tuesday.
Nice work men. Thanks for letting me lead Creflo. I look forward to seeing everyone again soon at the Anchor B!
Till next time…SYITG
