YHC had mixed emotions about this one, wanted it to be solid but the forecast was dismal. Isometrics in the truck sounded acceptable, but when I saw the smiling faces in the gloom, the energy built, not just one or two, but a third joined in for the soggy MULLET WRAPPER!

Not wanting to disappoint, we got right to it, a mosey, major fail, wet feet no good. So back to the pavilion, a question and goal was set. What could the four of us collectively do 1000 of? EVERYTHING.


Shoulders – a smorgasbord of Merkins, Durkins, Erkins [bad ass between plank kind], doublewide [but not diamond], one armed, and regular = 1000+

Arms – Dips IC and single count = 1000+

Legs – Monkey Humpers, Squats, CopperHead Squats, Low slow flutters, Step ups/Box jumps = 1000+

Abs – LBC’s, American Hammers, Freddie Murk’s, WW1’s = 1000+

Total distance covered = .08 miles, yes that’s less than 1/10 of a mile, beat that Snooky!

We named, announced and prayed. Amen

Christmas morning will be the 5th year anniversary of the day my family lost our home to a fire, yet we feel so very blessed. We are praying for all and realize the struggle many of you are going through with the devastation from Florence. Know that this too shall pass, stay faithful and realize this is a passing moment, time will heal and there are so many lessons we can teach our children to make them better prepared for life. This tired old body doesn’t need another mile, or another push up, but it needs the brotherhood of F3, I thank you all, and please reach out if there’s anything my family should be doing to assist you and yours.
